Simple Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry Nanny Meal
- Using a shaker bottle, Add 8 ounces of water or non-dairy milk like unsweetened flax, almond, or coconut milk.
- ADD 4 scoops Nanny Meal into container.
- Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. (Sing the ABC song 2 times)
- For Best Results: Chill in the fridge or freezer for 3 - 5 minutes. Shake and drink.
NOTE: If your child has never tried goat based drinks, chilling the drink and using a fun straw will make the introduction to Nanny Meal more successful. Remember it generally takes about 4 or 5 times introducing a new food for a child's taste buds to "like" it. Often a child will push away any new food even If it tastes good. Nanny Meal purposely did not add sugar. Instead, we use smart low-glycemic sweeteners like stevia, inulin, glycine, and grass-fed goat whey.
Smoothies
Organic Strawberry or Mixed Berry Smoothie
Add into Blender:
- 1 cup unsweetened flax, almond, or coconut milk
- 4 scoops Strawberry Nanny Meal
- 1 cup fresh or frozen organic berries
Blend for 10 seconds.
Yields: 16 ounces (2 servings)
"Micah's" Coconut~Banana Nanny Meal Smoothie
Add into Blender:
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 4 scoops Vanilla Nanny Meal
- 1/2 frozen banana
Blend for 10 seconds
Cherry~Chocolate Nanny Meal Smoothie
Add into Blender:
- 1 cup unsweetened flax, almond, or coconut milk
- 4 scoops Chocolate Nanny Meal
- 1 cup frozen organic cherries
Blend for 10 seconds
Yields: 12 ounces
Optional: Chill in freezer 15 minutes prior to serving.
Pudding
Chocolate Pudding (Edible Nanny Meal!)
Add into Blender: 
- 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup unsweetened (can) coconut milk
- 4 scoops Chocolate Nanny Meal
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 tsp. maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp. raw cacao or cocoa
Chill in fridge 15+ minutes prior to serving.Refrigerate leftovers.
Yields: 12 + ounces (3 servings for toddlers)
Tip: Set out frozen banana 5 minutes prior to making recipe. Peels easier.
Optional: Layer Pudding with slices of Banana, Strawberries, or gluten free cookie pieces. Top with dark chocolate shavings or gluten free cookie crumbles.
Don't have Chocolate Nanny Meal? Add an additional 2 tsp + of cocoa or raw cacao powder to Vanilla Nanny Meal
BIG Calories!: This recipe is very caloric rich. Approx. 700 calories per 8 ounces.. A perfect nutritional no-bake dessert for the active or underweight child. For 20 - 40 pound weight child., serving size is 4 ounces.
Ice Cream (using ice-cream maker)
Strawberry Ice-Cream (*Variations: Peach or Cherry)
Add into Blender:
- 7 oz full-fat Coconut Milk (canned)
- 4 scoops Vanilla Nanny Meal
- 1 cup Organic fresh or frozen Strawberries*
- 1/8 cup honey
- 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
Blend ALL ingredients in the Blender (Vita-Mix is best). Pour into the ice-cream maker Follow the ice-cream makers instructions I recommend buying a Cuisinart ice-cream maker which makes ice-cream in approx. 20 min..
Yields: one and one-half cups (about 2 -3 child size servings)
Optional: Melt 1/8 cup + dark chocolate chips and pour over ice cream after ice-cream freezes and refreeze for 10 minutes.
Vanilla Ice-cream Add into Blender: - 1 can coconut milk (full fat)
- 4 scoops Vanilla Nanny Meal
- 1 Tbsp. coconut cream
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp vanilla bean powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Blend ALL ingredients in the Blender (Vita-Mix is best). Pour into the ice-cream maker Follow the ice-cream makers instructions
Yields: aprox. 3 cups. (3 - 6 servings) Note: This is super creamy and has the texture of "real" ice-cream!
Instant Ice-Cream (using the Vitamin Mix, Blend Tec, Etc.)
Charity's Cherry Chocolate Instant Ice-Cream Add in to Blender: - 1 cup unsweetened almond, flax, or coconut milk
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Nanny Meal
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 4 cups ice
- 1 - 1.5 cup frozen cherries
- 2 Tbsp. honey
Vanilla Instant Ice-Cream Add in to Blender: - 1 cup unsweetened almond, flax, or coconut milk
- 1/2 c. Vanilla Nanny Meal
- 4 cups of ice
- 1 c. - 1.5 c. of peaches or mango
- 2 Tbsp. honey
Popsicles
Fudgsicles: A new twist to an old favorite
Add into Blender:
- 10 ounces coconut milk (canned)
- 6 scoops Vanilla Nanny Meal
- 2 ounce 100% chocolate (baker's chocolate)
- 1 date or fig
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla creme liquid Stevia
- 1/4 tsp. Organic vanilla powder
Blend for 15 seconds.
Pour into 4 (4 ounce) popsicle molds
Freeze for 30 minutes WITHOUT sticks
After 30 minutes, insert popsicle sticks.
Freeze for 3 hours.
Tip: Since it takes approx. 3 hours for popsicles to freeze, I suggest you make a batch of these before you and your children make them together. This way they are magically ready! Yeah Mom (or Dad!) (or Grandma!)
